This cheesecake is all about the senses. The combination of cardamom and rose water is heavenly.
Cardamom is anti-inflammatory and has been used in traditional medicine for centuries. Studies show that Cardamom may help lower blood pressure, most likely due to its antioxidant and diuretic properties. Cardamom also helps in digestion, prevents cavities and treats bad breath.
Rose water is also anti-inflammatory and the antioxidants in rose water protect the cells in the skin against damage. Consumption and inhalation of rose water also helps to improve a person’s mood, relieves headaches and soothes your throat.
We top the cake off with chunks of Raw vegan chocolate from the Equadorian Amazon called “Qumir”. Raw chocolate is high in minerals such as iron, magnesium and manganese which help to sustain energy levels.
